What to expect

Glen Carlou’s custom-designed cellar features an open-plan arena where visitors can gain insight into the art of winemaking. To delight the eye, our attractive, wood-beamed tasting room offers panoramic views of the Paarl Valley and the Drakenstein Mountains. Reward the palate with a variety of memorable wines.

A selection of older vintages, large format bottles as well as our range ‘The Curator’s Collection’ are available exclusively at the winery. We also have a range of wine paraphernalia for the discerning wine drinker, including accessories such as glass decanters.

The art gallery houses a collection of contemporary, pop and modern art by South African artists. Mediums as diverse as installation, photography, contemporary embroidery and ceramics contrast more traditional painting and sculpture.

 

The gallery is open Monday – Sunday from 10:00 – 16:00.

Find a moment of tranquillity

A unique feature of our estate is the Zen Fynbos Garden. Here a magnificent array of endemic indigenous fynbos flourishes between ancient rocks and giant boulders, creating an ambience of gentle tranquillity. Spend a few serene moments at the meditation pond; touch the plants in the brush garden to release the exquisite fragrances.
