Glen Carlou Pinot Noir Rosé 2017

R75.00

R75.00 | Club R63.75

We are over the moon to announce the release of our first Rosé, produced from hand-harvested Pinot Noir grapes grown in the renowned Simonsberg-Paarl ward. Stunning in the glass and beautiful to look at, this wine is as intriguing as it looks, and will keep you going back to the glass, time and time again.

Pinot Noir’s primary fruit components tend to deteriorate with higher temperatures in February and in the attempt to achieve an elegant balance between acidity and fruitiness, this Rosé was produced with the aim to preserve the primary and delicate flavour profiles of the fruit, and produce a light and refreshing wine with a lower alcohol.

Tasting Notes

Gorgeous and tempting in the glass, this Pinot Noir shows an opulent bouquet of raspberry, tropical fruits and citrus. Refreshing and vibrant, with red berry flavours, rose petal undertones and a crisp, almost guava mouth-full, from entry to finish. The palate is keenly balanced with hints of lime followed by a round minerality and firm length.
